John A. McCallum

Chief Executive Officer

 

John McCallum is CEO and responsible for managing the financial strategy and operations of the business.  As CEO, client satisfaction is his first priority and the foundation of the culture for the company.

 

Mr. McCallum assumed the role of CEO after the passing of his father, Jerry McCallum, in June 2014.  Jerry had successfully run the business for over two decades. In addition to his CEO role, John is the Managing Partner and Founder of a private investment partnership that makes majority and minority investments in middle market operating companies.

 

Previously, McCallum worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Investment Management Division.  His primary focus was providing strategic asset allocation advice and business financing solutions to middle market business owners.  

 

Over the years, McCallum has served as the CEO of several ventures in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.  McCallum also served as a Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the Honorable Newt Gingrich, in Washington, DC. During his time in Washington, he focused on budget, banking and tax issues.  

 

McCallum completed his graduate degree at Harvard University obtaining a Masters in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government. While obtaining his undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee, he was twice selected as an NCAA All-America football player.
